Guruji Cash – Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the issuance, redemption, expiry and management of Guruji Cash on the AstroGuruji website (“Platform”). By earning or using Guruji Cash, the customer agrees to these Terms.

1. About Guruji Cash

1.1 What is Guruji Cash?

Guruji Cash is a promotional, non-monetary wallet credit issued by AstroGuruji to eligible customers. It may be issued through cashback offers, promotional campaigns, refunds, goodwill benefits or other reward programmes.

1.2 Value of Guruji Cash

Unless stated otherwise:

₹1 Guruji Cash = ₹1 promotional value

Guruji Cash can only be used against eligible purchases made on the AstroGuruji website.

1.3 No Cash Value

Guruji Cash:

  • Is not legal tender.

  • Cannot be withdrawn into a bank account.

  • Cannot be redeemed for physical cash.

  • Cannot be transferred through UPI or any other payment method.

  • Cannot be exchanged for gift cards or other monetary instruments.

1.4 Non-Transferable

Guruji Cash is linked to the customer account and registered mobile number through which it was earned. It cannot be transferred, gifted, sold or combined with another customer’s account.

2. ₹500 Prepaid Cashback Offer

2.1 Prepaid Orders Only

The cashback offer is available exclusively on fully prepaid orders.

Orders placed using Cash on Delivery (“COD”) or Partial COD are not eligible for Guruji Cash cashback.

2.2 Cashback Amount

For eligible prepaid orders:

  • If the prepaid order amount is ₹499 or above, the customer may receive up to ₹500 Guruji Cash.

  • If the total amount paid online is below ₹499, the cashback will be limited to the exact amount paid online.

  • Cashback cannot exceed the maximum amount announced under the applicable offer.

Example: If the customer pays ₹350 online, the maximum cashback will be ₹350 Guruji Cash.

2.3 Eligible Payment Methods

Eligible prepaid payment methods may include:

  • UPI

  • Credit card

  • Debit card

  • Net banking

  • Other online payment methods accepted by AstroGuruji

Payments made through Guruji Cash itself will not be considered while calculating fresh promotional cashback unless specifically mentioned in the offer.

2.4 One Cashback per Eligible Order

Only one cashback benefit will be issued against each eligible order. Splitting, duplicating or repeatedly placing orders to misuse the offer may result in cancellation of the cashback.

2.5 Account Requirement

The customer must log in using the same registered mobile number while placing the order and while using Guruji Cash.

AstroGuruji will not be responsible if the cashback is credited to a different account because the customer used another mobile number or login method.

3. Crediting and Unlocking Guruji Cash

3.1 Cashback Credit

Cashback may initially appear as “Pending,” “Upcoming” or “Locked” Guruji Cash.

3.2 Unlocking

Pending Guruji Cash will become available for redemption only after the qualifying order meets AstroGuruji’s eligibility conditions, such as successful payment, order confirmation, dispatch or delivery.

The exact unlocking date displayed in the customer’s Guruji Cash account will apply.

3.3 Processing Time

Cashback may take up to 24–72 hours after the applicable qualifying event to appear or become usable.

Technical or payment verification delays may extend this period.

3.4 Verification

AstroGuruji may withhold cashback until the payment and order details have been successfully verified.

4.1 Redemption Limit

On an eligible order, the customer can redeem up to 25% of their available Guruji Cash wallet balance.

The redemption amount is calculated based on the available Guruji Cash balance and not as a percentage of the order value.

Example: If a customer has ₹500 Guruji Cash in their wallet, they can redeem ₹125 (25% of ₹500) on their next eligible order.

If the available Guruji Cash balance is ₹1,000, the customer can redeem up to ₹250.

The redemption amount cannot exceed the final payable value of the order.

4.2 Prepaid Orders Only

Guruji Cash can only be redeemed on fully prepaid orders paid through UPI, credit card, debit card, net banking or another eligible online payment method.

Guruji Cash cannot be redeemed on Cash on Delivery (“COD”) or Partial COD orders.

4.3 Coupons Not Applicable

If a customer redeems Guruji Cash on an order, no discount coupon, promotional code, automatic discount or additional prepaid discount can be applied to that order.

The customer may use either:

  • Guruji Cash redemption; or
  • An eligible coupon or promotional discount.

Both benefits cannot be combined on the same order.

4.4 Remaining Payment

After Guruji Cash is applied, the remaining order amount must be paid using an accepted prepaid payment method.

4.5 Subject to Available Balance

Guruji Cash can only be redeemed from the customer’s available and unlocked wallet balance. Pending, upcoming, locked or expired Guruji Cash cannot be redeemed.

4.6 Product and Cart Restrictions

Guruji Cash redemption may not be available on:

  • Selected products or collections

  • Already heavily discounted products

  • Gift cards

  • Shipping charges

  • Taxes or additional fees

  • Special promotional products

  • Marketplace or third-party purchases

Applicable restrictions will be displayed during checkout wherever possible.

4.7 Expiry-Based Deduction

Where a customer has multiple Guruji Cash credits with different expiry dates, the balance expiring first will generally be redeemed first.

5. Validity and Expiry

5.1 Standard Validity

Unless otherwise specified for a campaign, Guruji Cash will expire 30 days from the date it becomes available for redemption.

5.2 Campaign-Specific Validity

Certain promotional campaigns may have a shorter or longer validity period. The validity displayed in the customer account or communicated with the offer will prevail.

5.3 Expired Guruji Cash

Once expired, Guruji Cash:

  • Will be automatically removed from the customer’s available balance.

  • Cannot be redeemed.

  • Cannot be restored, extended or converted into cash.

Any restoration or extension will be entirely at AstroGuruji’s discretion.

5.4 Expiry Notifications

AstroGuruji may attempt to send expiry reminders through WhatsApp, SMS, email or other available channels. However, it remains the customer’s responsibility to check the balance and expiry date.

Failure to receive an expiry reminder will not extend the validity of Guruji Cash.

6. Cancellation, Return and Refund Adjustments

6.1 Cancellation of Cashback Order

If an order against which Guruji Cash was issued is cancelled, the issued cashback will be reversed.

6.2 Return of Cashback Order

If the customer returns an order for which promotional Guruji Cash was issued, the cashback relating to the returned order or item will be reversed.

6.3 Cashback Already Used

If the customer has already used the cashback earned from an order that is later cancelled, returned, refused or becomes ineligible, AstroGuruji may deduct the used cashback from:

  • The customer’s available Guruji Cash balance;

  • The refund payable for the original order; or

  • Future Guruji Cash credits.

The refund will never be less than ₹0.

Refund formula:

Eligible Refund = Amount Otherwise Refundable − Cashback Already Used

Example:

A customer receives ₹500 Guruji Cash from Order A and uses ₹200 on Order B. If Order A is later cancelled, ₹200 may be deducted from the refund for Order A.

6.4 Partial Returns

For partial returns, the cashback may be reversed proportionately according to the value of the returned products.

Example:

If an order worth ₹2,000 received ₹500 cashback and products worth ₹1,000 are returned, up to ₹250 cashback may be reversed.

6.5 Customer-Refused or Undelivered Orders

If the customer refuses delivery, provides incorrect details, remains unavailable or causes the prepaid order to be returned, the cashback will be cancelled or reversed.

Any applicable forward shipping, RTO or handling charges may be deducted from the refund in accordance with AstroGuruji’s Return and Refund Policy.

6.6 Seller or Courier Fault

If an order is cancelled because of an AstroGuruji inventory issue, an incorrect product supplied, courier loss or verified transit damage, cashback and refund adjustments will be handled according to the applicable refund and replacement policy.

6.7 Cashback Used on a Returned Order

If an order paid partly through Guruji Cash is cancelled or returned, the eligible Guruji Cash portion may be credited back with its original remaining validity.

Expired Guruji Cash is not guaranteed to be restored or reissued.

7. Balance and Transaction History

Customers can check their available, pending and expired Guruji Cash through the AstroGuruji customer account or Guruji Cash panel.

Customers should contact AstroGuruji Support if they identify an incorrect balance or missing transaction.

8. Restrictions and Misuse

8.1 Prohibited Activities

The following activities may be considered misuse:

  • Creating multiple accounts to claim the same cashback repeatedly.

  • Using different mobile numbers for the same customer to obtain duplicate rewards.

  • Placing fake or non-genuine orders.

  • Repeatedly cancelling, returning or refusing orders after receiving cashback.

  • Manipulating payments, coupons, referrals or checkout systems.

  • Selling, transferring or exchanging Guruji Cash.

  • Using technical methods to obtain unauthorised rewards.

8.2 Right to Suspend or Reverse

If misuse, fraud or suspicious activity is detected, AstroGuruji may:

  • Cancel pending cashback.

  • Reverse credited Guruji Cash.

  • Restrict future Guruji Cash usage.

  • Suspend the customer account.

  • Cancel related orders or promotional benefits.

9. Technical Limitations

AstroGuruji will make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate balances and uninterrupted access. However, temporary delays or errors may occur due to technical, payment gateway, loyalty-platform or third-party service issues.

In case of any discrepancy, AstroGuruji’s verified transaction and order records will be considered final.

10. Programme Modification or Termination

AstroGuruji reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Guruji Cash programme, including:

  • Cashback amounts

  • Redemption limits

  • Eligibility conditions

  • Unlocking periods

  • Expiry periods

  • Product restrictions

  • Coupon-stacking rules

Changes may be made at any time without prior notice, subject to applicable law. Continued participation in the programme will constitute acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Customer Support and Disputes

Any issue regarding missing cashback, balance calculation, redemption, reversal or expiry must be reported to AstroGuruji Customer Support with the registered mobile number and relevant order ID.

All claims are subject to verification of AstroGuruji’s order, payment and Guruji Cash transaction records.

12. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by the applicable laws of India. Any dispute arising from the Guruji Cash programme will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts applicable to AstroGuruji’s registered business location.

13. Acceptance

By earning, viewing or redeeming Guruji Cash, the customer confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
